The Brummie Inquiry

As Chair of the Overview & Scrutiny Committee for Birmingham City Council on Social Cohesion and Community Safety, I led an inquiry into what are the core values that bring the people of Birmingham together to build a more socially cohesive community – this inquiry is widely known as the Brummie Inquiry or the #mybrum inquiry.

The written and oral evidence for this inquiry has been collated and the committee expects to bring recommendations of the inquiry to the full Birmingham City Council meeting in February 2013.
