Special Street Collection in Lozells & East Handsworth Ward
Special Street Collections are organised by the Councillors to give residents the chance to dispose of any unwanted items.
The following roads will benefit from Special Street Collection during November 2011:
- Wednesday 2nd November 2011 – Upper Grosvenor Road, Kingsleigh Road, Grosvenor Road, Ludmer Way, Grosvenor Avenue, Lyndon Close, Old Mill Grove
- Thursday 4th November 2011 – Westminster Road, Westerings
- Friday 4th November 2011 – Stamford Road, Stamford Grove, Turville Road
- Monday 7th November 2011 – Putney Road, Livingstone Road, Apollo way, Putney Avenue
- Wednesday 9th November 2011 – Robert Road, Paul Byrne Court, Bridgelands Way, Burtonwood Drive, Ashcroft Grove
- Thursday 10th November 2011 – Church Hill Road, Winston Drive, Wellesbourne Road, Church Avenue
- Friday 11th November 2011 – St Peters Road, Gibson Road, Beaudesert Road, Gibson Drive, Wye Cliff Road,
- Monday 13th November 2011 – Crompton Road, Crompton Avenue, Charles Road, The Sidings.
Please put out rubbish on the STREET by 8.30am on the day of collection. Please tie any loose wood into manageable bundles. The collections wil remove most items that residents need to discard. Any unwanted household items and furniture are taken. If any furniture that is in good condition, please consider recycling it.
The following items will not be collected:
- Bricks
- Cement
- Building rubble
- Gas bottles
- Car parts (including tyres)
- Asbestos
- Paint
- Oil
- Chemicals
- Pianos
- Refrigerators
- Freezers
- Washing Machines
- Soil
Please do not put out garden waste if you already recieve a kerbside collection of this material
